I like to keep things as simple as possible, because I know how mind boggling setting up a website for your business can be. If you are still unsure of which package would best suit your project, I am always happy to arrange a free one-on-one design consultation.

Stage 1 : Initial Contact
Use my design quote form directly to start the discussion of your project needs. Please be as descriptive as possible when contacting me about your design. The more information and details that you give me, the more accurate my design quote will be.
Stage 2: Quote Approval- (First Installment/Deposit Due)
Once you approve the design proposal and are ready to start the process, you can make a payment for the initial 50% deposit (required before work starts) at make-a-payment. Once I have received your 50% deposit and contract I will go ahead and send you via email a design questionnaire and welcome package, which you will need to have a good read through! The questionnaire helps me to gain an insight into what your inspirations are, and what your ultimate goals are for your project.
Stage 3: Required Information
You will be responsible for providing all text and product photos for your project. Please have these ready early in the process. The more information you give me upfront, the faster the design process is.
If you are doing an ecommerce site, your shopping cart will be installed at this point. I will need you to put together a list of your pages, content and categories and send that over to me, where I will apply it to your software.
Once I have all of the required info, I will be ready to begin the tutorial process with you, and guide you in how to begin adding your own content and products (if you didn’t purchase copywriting & product entry). It is best if you dedicate some time in your schedule to working on adding content.
Stage 4 : Concept, Layout Design and Coding
From your answers, I will create your first draft. Once your design is complete (and you are 110% happy with the result) I will move on to the overall layout design. I will send you a set of drafts, and once you are 110% happy with the design I will begin working on the other pages (item detail page, category page and shopping cart, etc). I will also be working on any add-on services you have purchase including your business cards, templates etc.
This is where I begin to turn the design into a working site. I will work on the coding and programming until every aspect of your site works perfectly! Once you are happy with the look, feel and functionality of the site, I will give you your second tutorial on the administrative features of your shop (if applicable to you).
I allow as many revisions as necessary (within reason – please don’t take advantage of this) to create a design that you are truly happy with. Once you approve your design, any additional (major) changes will be billed at my hourly rate.
Step 5 and Final Stage: Installation and Setup (Final Installment Due)
After approval, I will send you the remaining invoice for your final payment balance. Once payment is received, I will upload your design to your domain. I will test your design and put the final touches together. I’ll have you go through it one last time
So after you are happy that the site looks and works great, you are ready for your big launch! I will continue to support you with any questions you have after this as you are always part of the family!
